An online store on your own site
You can add a real online store to any build it up site. It combines two systems so you get the best of both worlds:
Who runs what?
| Part | Runs on | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Storefront — store page, product pages, products section | build it up (us) | Built and edited inside your system, in the visual editor and from chat — in your site's own colors and design |
| Commerce engine — cart, checkout, inventory, orders, card security | Shopify | A proven, world-class secure sales system; you connect your own Shopify account |
What the customer experiences
- 1The customer browses the store on your site — your branding, colors and address.
- 2Adds products to the cart — still on your site.
- 3Only at payment they move to Shopify's secure checkout — so card details never pass through us.
What you get
- A store that feels part of the site — not a disconnected external store, but a natural extension of the brand.
- Full management from the system and from chat — products, prices, inventory and orders.
- Shopify-grade payment security — you never hold card data (PCI stays on Shopify).
- Design flexibility — a store section for any page, and a full store page at /store.
What you need to start
- A Shopify account in the business name (Shopify is a paid monthly service, owned by you).
- Products in the Shopify account (or we'll help add them).
- The Store module activated in your account.
💡 Tip: No need to build a separate Shopify site. Your beautiful site stays with us — Shopify is only the sales engine behind the scenes.
