Import an existing website

Website import creates a private starting draft from an existing public website. Use it when moving content into build it up while keeping the current website online until the replacement has been reviewed.

First step: open Import existing website (/admin/import-website), enter the public address you are authorised to use, and start the intake. The result is a draft for review, not a promise of a pixel-perfect or automatically published copy.

When no valid public pages can be read, the import remains empty and explains what is missing. It never overwrites the live website by itself. Review text, images, forms, links, mobile layout, privacy notices, and ownership rights before approving publication; unsupported integrations must be connected separately.
