Connecting a Custom Domain

Free System Address

Every site automatically receives its own system address and remains available there even after a custom domain is connected. You can rename it in Address & domain; this is not a domain purchase and does not require Pro.

How to Connect Your Own Domain?

  1. 1Confirm that the website switcher shows the right website, then open My website → Address & domain
  2. 2Select Connect domain and enter an apex domain or subdomain you already own (for example: my-business.com or shop.my-business.com)
  3. 3The system displays the exact DNS plan for that domain type:
  • Apex domain (my-business.com) — A record
  • Subdomain (www / shop) — CNAME record
  1. 4Copy every record exactly into the DNS manager at your domain provider
  2. 5Return to Address & domain and select Check again. When the status changes to Connected, the address is live

Security (HTTPS)

An SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically — nothing to configure.

From the Assistant

The in-product assistant or a connected AI can prepare the connection for the active website after explicit approval and return the exact DNS records to paste at your provider. They do not sell, renew, or change the account at your external domain provider.

💡 Tip: DNS changes sometimes update within minutes and sometimes within hours. If verification does not pass immediately, wait a little and check again.
