Connect ChatGPT or Claude — Once and Done

Step 1 — Copy the Connection Address

  1. 1Open "Connect AI" in the menu
  2. 2Click "Copy" next to the connection address: https://builditup.io/api/mcp

Step 2 — Connect in ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT in a web browser and go to Settings → Apps
  2. 2In a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace, an admin must first enable Developer mode and custom connections under Workspace settings → Permissions & roles → Connected data
  3. 3Create or add a custom app and paste the connection address
  4. 4Select OAuth, approve the window that opens, and sign in to your build it up account

Step 2 (Alternative) — Connect in Claude

  1. 1In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors
  2. 2Click +, then Add custom connector
  3. 3Paste the connection address and approve access to your build it up account
  4. 4In a Team or Enterprise workspace, the owner may need to add and approve it first under Organization settings → Connectors

Can't see the option?

Custom connections still vary by plan and workspace. Make sure you are using the web app, your plan supports custom connections, and your workspace admin has enabled them. The area may still be labeled Apps in some accounts and Connectors in others.

Step 3 — Test

Write in the chat: "Show me all my websites". If you received a list — everything is working.

Disconnecting

On the "Connect AI" page, under "Connected Applications," you can see every active connection and disconnect it with a click.

💡 Tip: You can connect both ChatGPT and Claude simultaneously — the same connection address serves both.
